Parenting and Schedules

Most of us don't want the rest of the family to feel the effects of our illness. But . . . families are small communities and what affects one, affects all.

Instead of seeing this as a problem, look at it this way: You have the opportunity, because of your illness, to CHOOSE your schedule very carefully. You cannot do everything and neither can your family members. So take it as a challenge to be intentional about what you want your home atmosphere to be like and what kind of choices you will need to make in order to let that happen.

In this podcast, I share a number of ideas with you for finding those 'bottom line' priorities and learning how to communicate with each other to make these decisions good for everyone.

Your perspective on life, time, energy, because of illness, can become a gift of simplicity that this world desperately needs. Don't underestimate the value of your input.
